My name is Natan Rodrigues. Nice to meet you!

Natan Rodrigues Ferreira is a multidisciplinary Brazilian artist working across film, theater, sculpture, performance, painting, and printmaking in Providence, RI. With a background in Visual Arts, Theater Arts, and Performance Studies from Brown University, his work explores themes of homesickness, resistance, and the search for love amidst struggle. Deeply experimental, his practice pushes the boundaries of materials and techniques, with wood as a recurring element in his sculptures and performance as a bridge between his visual art and acting careers. Drawing from his Brazilian heritage and personal experiences, Natan’s work across disciplines seeks to evoke recognition—the feeling of being seen in someone else’s story. In 2023 he co-founded Caverned Films, a production company connecting Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design resources to the independent film community, expanding his search for community in actions outside his art production. In April 2025, his first solo exhibition, “The Love Gained, The Love Left Behind” opened at List Art Center in Providence, RI.
